November NightMarket @ Aloha Tower was an amazing success. Maohi Nui hosted a Tahitian Solo Dance Competition and also performed their show numbers as well. The crowd was enthusiastic and had a great time, it was the biggest and most exciting NightMarket since it began last November 2008.

The Fashion Show featured Purotu Designs Jewelry & Ohana Wear, my first clothing line; as well as other NightMarket Vendors & Local Designers Sola2, INVAD, Masina Polynesia, Organik, Shugazcutz, and shoes by Deuces Hawaii.

Purotu Designs' Tahitian Pearl Jewelry was featured on the Japanese Travel channel t.v. show "Hawaiian Express" hosted by the lovely Julie Yajima Lejeune. Purotu Designs now Producing the NightMarket@AlohaTower

You remember that fabulous event I was always talking about, the Aloha Tower Night Market? Well after our Fashion Show in September, we were given the opportunity and great responsibility to take over production of this unique and promising event. We welcome the opportunity to share with the community, the talented designers, artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs of our islands.Each month we will provide live music/entertainment, an art gallery, a fashion show, a cultural demonstration, examples of sustainable living, delicious food, made-in-Hawaii vendors and more! There is also a bar, parking validation & free admission.

Some of the recent performances have been provided by Mamolii Productions, Ia Ora O Tahiti Nui, and this month Maohi Nui will be hosting a Tahitian Solo Dance Competition.

Last month, Joe Hau'oli Dowson, 2007 MAMo Awardee, exhibited his work in the Art Gallery
along with Richard Kupihea Romero. They will both be returning for November along with Sheree Pokipala, all MAMo participants.














One of the highlights of the October NightMarket was an Awa Presentation led by Keao Nesmith.

And of course, the Black & White Fashion Show was Fresh and Fabulous with gorgeous models wearing clothes by Mamolii, INVAD, SOLA2, The Organik, Shugazcutz, outfits from Flower Child Boutique, and Jewelry by Purotu Designs.

Held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace, from 5pm-10pm.
